The results of secondary as well as higher secondary examinations were delayed nationwide due to COVID-19, but the government has become proactive in the past few weeks so that students could be relieved even though little. Different boards, including CBSE and CISCE decalred the results last week, and students were seen rejoicing after viewing their scores.

The marking scheme was changed to a certain extent due to the fact that a few exams were left pending. Human Resources (HRD) Minister Dr. Ramesh Pokhriyal ‘Nishank’ along with a special task force of teachers came up with a marking scheme where students were evaluated upon pre-board exam performance. This is a special scheme and only stands valid for the current year until further notice.
