The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC), the national conduit of the counselling of medical seats offered under the All India Quota and also the deciding body for various counselling related policies, has extended the last date to report for the shortlisted candidates of NEET-UG 2020 Counselling.
As per the latest notification released by MCC on its official website, the reporting date has been extended till 16 November 2020, which earlier was 14 November 2020. This decision was undertaken due to the Diwali celebrations going on all over India. Candidates who have been shortlisted for the NEET-UG Counselling 2020 can now report to their designated reporting venues till 16 November 2020.
MCC Official Notification Reads
The official notification released as “Urgent Notice” reads, “This is for information to all the Candidates and the Participating colleges that the date for reporting/admission for Round-1 of UG Counselling 2020 at the allotted colleges has been extended till 02:00 PM of 16th November 2020 on account of Deepawali on 14th November 2020. This issues with the approval of the Competent Authority.”
Documents Required at the time of Counselling
The shortlisted candidates will have to visit the assigned institute for verification of the document process. Therefore, candidates must make sure they have the below-mentioned documents to avoid any last-minute hassle:
- Admit card of NEET
- Rank card for NEET
- Provisional allotment letter
- Category certificate (if applicable)
- Birth Certificate
- Identity proof
- High school mark sheet
- High school passing certificate
- Intermediate mark sheet
- Intermediate passing certificate
- Passport size photograph
