The All India Management Association (AIMA) will conduct the Management Aptitude Test (MAT) September 2019.
As per the schedule released by AIMA, the Paper Based Test (PBT) will be held on September 21 while the MAT 2019 Computer Based Test (CBT) is scheduled to be conducted on September 14.
Management Aptitude Test is a standard aptitude test conducted by All India Management Association (AIMA) for admissions into more than 600 Business Schools in India. MAT exam is being conducted since 1988 and is one of the largest MBA entrance exams in India, even has more acceptability than CAT. MAT exam score is considered as a basis for admission into MBA and other related programmes.
The best part of appearing in each MAT exam is that you have the chance to improve your score after every 4 months. Each MAT exam score is valid for only 1 year. The best MAT score among the four would be considered to get the merit position during the admission process of the B-school.
MAT 2019 Application Form
The steps to Submit the MAT 2019 Application Form are as follows
- Visit AIMA official website mat.aima.in
- On the homepage, click on ‘New Registration’ link
- Enter Email ID, Name, Date of Birth, Phone Number and other credentials
- Subsequently, upload your scanned photograph, and signature and submit
- Complete the payment through online or offline process/mode
- Take a printout of the submission for future reference.
Also Note – After completing the registration an acknowledgment mail will sent to the registered Email ID.
The admit card for AIMA MAT 2019 will be available on the following dates
- Paper Based Test (PBT): September 17
- Computer Based Test (CBT): September 9
AIMA MAT Eligibility Exam
Before going ahead with the application process, all candidates are advised to check the eligibility criteria.
There is no age limitation for MAT 2019 Exam. Candidates can apply for any number of times. A candidate who is willing to appear for MAT 2019 Exam should be a graduate in any discipline from any recognized university or possess an equivalent recognized a degree. Applicant must be a citizen of India.
Candidates who are in the final year of their graduation program can also apply for MAT 2019 Exam on a conditional basis i.e. candidates will be required to clear the final year exam before starting a post-graduation programme in the B-Schools.
AIMA MAT 2019 Exam Pattern
MAT 2019 exam duration is of 2 hours and 30 minutes i.e. total of 150 minutes. The MAT 2019 question paper totally consists of 200 questions and consists of 5 sections/subjects. Each section has got 40 questions that weigh 40 marks with each question being awarded 1 mark and for every wrong answer 1/4 marks will be deducted.
The candidates will be able to download their MAT Admit Card for both Online and Offline examination from the AIMA’s official website. Separate Admit Cards will be issued for online and offline exams. However, the Admit card will only be available online only and no hard copy will be sent by the authority through the post.
