    Here are a few of the important updates from last week in education from JEE Main, NIFT, MET 2021 application form release to other important exam related details.

    DU Special Round Cut Off List Released – The University of Delhi has released a special round cut off list for arts, commerce, and science streams. The cut off list is available on the official website – du.ac.in for students to check from.

    APSET 2020 Admit Card Released – The APSET 2020 admit card has been released by authorities online on apset.net.in the official website. Candidates who registered for the APSET examination can visit the official website to download their respective admit cards by entering their email id or mobile number and password.

    GATE 2021 Centre Change Facility Reopened – The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Bombay has reopened the exam centre change facility for GATE 2021 for the last time. Those candidates who are already registered for the GATE exam and want to modify any of the exam venue details can avail the facility by visiting gate.iitb.ac.in the official website.

    UGC NET June 2020 E-Certificates Available – The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the e-certificate for UGC NET 2020 online. The e-certificates are available for those candidates who were successful in qualifying the UGC NET exam on ugcnet.nta.nic.in the official website.

    NIFT 2021 Application Registration Commences – The National Institute of Fashion Technology released the NIFT 2021 application form online for undergraduate and postgraduate courses on 14 December 2020. In order to fill out the application forms, candidates will have to visit nift.ac.in the official website. The last date for filling the form without a late fee is 21 January 2021 while with a late fee is between 22 January 2021 and 24 January 2021.

    MET 2021 Registration Commences – Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE) has started the registration process for MET 2021 and consequently released the MET application form 2021 online. In order to apply for the same, candidates will have to visit manipal.edu/mu.html the official website.

    JEE Main 2021 Application Brochure Recalled – The National Testing Agency (NTA) withdrew the JEE Main 2021 information brochure after the Union Education Ministry informed that dates for the exam have not been finalized yet.

    Schools in Jharkhand to Reopen on 21 December 2020 – After about eight months of educational institutes being shut amid the COVID-19 outbreak, schools in Jharkhand for classes 10 to 12 will reopen on 21 December 2020. Along with schools, medical colleges and government training institutes have also been allowed by the state government to reopen with strict adherence to guidelines and SOPs.

    Chandigarh CET 2021 Registration Commences – Chandigarh University has started the application registration process for Chandigarh University CET 2021 online on 14 December 2020. Candidates who wish to register for admissions to Chandigarh University can do so by visiting cucet.cuchd.in the official website and the last date to register is 29 May 2021.

    TS ICET 2020 Round 1 Seat Allotment Result Declared – The Telangana Council of Higher Education has released the first round seat allotment result for TS ICET 2020 counseling registrations online. Candidates who were able to qualify the TS ICET 2020 counselling process and secure a seat can visit the official website to check their selection status.

    Union Minister Announces Dates for JEE Main 2021 – The Union Minister of India, Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank, announced the exam dates for JEE Main 2021 in his live session at 6 PM IST today. He again reiterated that the engineering exam will be held four times starting in February 2021 and the first session will be conducted between 23 February 2021 and 26 February 2021.

    JEE Main 2021 Application Forms Released – After the announcement of JEE Main dates by the Union Education Minister, Ramesh Pokhriyal ‘Nishank’, on 16 December 2020, the National Testing Agency (NTA) released the application forms for JEE Main 2021 February session on jeemain.nta.nic.in the official website. The last date to register is 16 January 2021.

    Madhya Pradesh Schools Reopened on 18 December 2020 – After about eight months of educational institutes being shut amid the COVID-19 outbreak, schools in Madhya Pradesh for classes 10 and 12 reopened on 18 December 2020. The decision was made keeping in mind the Board exam that is to commence very soon.

    MP NEET Round 2 Allotment Result Declared – The Madhya Pradesh Department of Medical Education has released the MP NEET Counselling 2020 round 2 allotment result online on dme.mponline.gov.in the official website.

    NEET Mop-Up Counselling Final Result Declared – The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) declared the final results of the NEET mop-up counselling round for MBBS and BDS candidates on 17 December 2020. Registered candidates who have been anticipating results for the mop-up round of counselling can check their results on the official website – mcc.nic.in

    Education Minister’s Live Session with Teachers Postponed – The Union Education Minister, Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank’s address to the teachers regarding Board Exam 2021 has been postponed to 22 December 2020. The live session was earlier scheduled for 17 December 2020 to answer multiple queries from teachers regarding the class 12 board exams.

    Last-Minute Tips for SNAP 2020 Exam – Just two days are left for the SNAP 2020 exam, and students must go all-in with their preparation and revisions. SNAP 2020 is scheduled to be held on 20 December 2020, and it’s understandable that the anxiety among the students must be at its peak. It is important for students to process the last few days with a calm mind, and cover only the things that are the most important.
