CoA (Council of Architecture) is the regulating body for conducting NATA (National Aptitude Test in Architecture) since 2006. It is consequent upon the provisions of CoA regulations, 1983, published in the Gazette of India.
The last date for submitting NATA 2020 application form has been extended by the Council of Architecture (CoA). Candidates can fill the application form till March 23, 2020 till 11:59 PM in the official website- nata.in
The exam (first test) will be conducted on April 19, 2020 from 10:00 AM to 01:15 PM.
NATA 2020 is conducted twice a year, thus giving opportunity to those candidates who are unable to attend the first test due to some reason or wish to improve upon their NATA score in the first test by re-appearing for the second test. Both the tests will be conducted on different dates as a one-day online exam all over the country.
The test consists of two parts: Part A which is on Drawing, which is paper based and Part B comprises of Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ) on Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and general aptitude which is to be answered online.
Important dates and events of NATA 2020 first test
NATA 2020 registration date has been extended to March 23, 2020 till 11:59 PM. Image uploads and fee payment are permitted upto March 27, 2020 till 11:59 PM. Once the application process is completed, confirmation page can be printed till March 30, 2020 till 11:59 PM. The correction window will be open from March 28, 2020 at 10:30 AM to March 30, 2020 till 11:59 PM. Admit cards can be downloaded from April 8, 2020 and results will be published by May 8, 2020.
Steps to apply for NATA 2020 first test
- Visit the official portal- nata.in
- On the homepage, click on the link for “NATA 2020 Registration”.
- On the redirected page, click on “Sign Up”.
- Provide all the mandatory details and hit “SIGN UP”.
- Then login using the credentials.
- Fill in details such as “Personal Information”, “Address & Exam Details”, “Educational Qualifications”.
- Upload photograph and signature.
- Submit the details.
- Pay the required amount of fee.
