The University of Mysore has finally announced the KSET 2020 examination date, which is 27 September 2020. Earlier, the examination was scheduled for 21 June 2020, but due to the ever-increasing cases of COVID-19, the exam was postponed until further notice. General Instructions for the Candidates
- Candidates need to follow the exam-related advisory/guidelines to the best of their abilities. Failing which strict actions can be taken against them.
- Along with the admit card, candidates need to bring a valid photo ID proof like Aadhar Card, PAN Card, Driving License, etc.
- Social distancing norms must be followed each time a candidate enters and exits the venue.
The Karnataka State Eligibility Test (KSET) is a state-level examination controlled by the University of Mysore. The qualified candidates become Assistant Professor in various listed higher institutions under the government of Karnataka.
The State Eligibility Test is conducted once a year to make a rigorous merit-based selection for the entry-level in teaching profession. Currently, KSET is conducting the test for 41 subjects at eleven (11) Nodal Centers spread across the Karnataka State.

The materials include previous year question papers, syllabus, answer keys, etc. Candidates must go through the details to ace the examination.
