The Karnataka Government has decided to postpone the Karnataka Common Entrance Test KCET 2021. The exam, which was scheduled to be held on 7 and 8 July 2021 will now be conducted on 28 August August 29, 2021 and the Kannada language test on 30 August 2021. The decision was confirmed by the Executive director of the Karnataka Examinations Authority on 12 May 2021 following the aftermath of the second wave of COVID-19.
As per the revised schedule, Biology and Mathematics exams will be held on 28 August 2021 in the first shift (10:30 AM to 11:50 AM) and second shift (2:30 PM to 3:50 PM) respectively. Similarly, Physics and Chemistry exams will be held on 29 August 2021. The Kannada language test for Horanadu and Gadinadu candidates is scheduled for 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM on 30 August 2021.
Karnataka Common Entrance Test is a qualifying exam for admission into various undergraduate engineering, architecture and medical courses at colleges/universities across Karnataka. The following are the key dates and events for the KCET 2021 exam:

Kannada Language Test
The Kannada Language Test has to be written by those candidates who claim eligibility for admission to Government seats under the Horanadu and Gadinadu Kannadiga clauses. The test will be conducted at examination centres in Bangalore. Eligible candidates are required to furnish original documents to their parents as prescribed along with the KCET 2021 admit card to appear on the test.
