Karnataka 2nd PUC Result 2020 to release late, says Education Minister S Suresh Kumar


Karnataka 2nd PUC Result 2020 will release late this time as it will be released only after declaration of Karnataka State CET exam. The decision for doing so was taken in a meeting convened by Primary and Secondary Education Minister S Suresh Kumar. So this time Karanataka 2nd PUC results will be declared later than ususal. 

Board Directors Meeting

A meeting was conducted by Karnataka State Education Minister with the directors of Department of Pre-University Education to discuss on particulars of Board Exams for Karnataka. Minister and other stakeholders discussed on the preparedness for the upcoming Board Exams and the undergoing preparations for the 2nd PUC Practical Exams.

2nd PUC 2020 practical exams will commence on 25th January 2020.

The meeting was conducted on Thursday and minister tweeted on the same on his Twitter official page.

Karnataka 2nd PUC Exam 2020: Key Changes & Details

Key changes got made in the conduction of Karnataka Board Exams 2020 at the end of the meeting. Education Minister were informed by Board directors on the same.

40 Page Answer Booklets

DPUE (Dept. of Pre-University Education) will introduce 40 page answer booklet this year for candidates to write the exam.

Many time in the past students have faced difficulties regarding the additional or supplementary answer sheets as it have got lost. This initiative (40 page Answer Sheet) is to avoid any such issues from happening again.  

Number of Students & Exam Centers

According to PUE Board Directors, a total of 2,46,772 students will appear for the 2nd PUC Exam 2020. There are over 1016 exam centres allotted for theory exams and 1014 for practical exams.

Hall Ticket

Karnataka 2nd PUC admit card will release on 17th January 2020.

Answer Sheets Evaluation

The Board Exam evaluation team consists of a total of 35,156 members.
