JIPMER Entrance Exam 2019 Admit Card Released

The Jawaharlal Nehru Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research (JIPMER), Puducherry has released the JIPMER 2019 Entrance Exam admit cards for the MBBS program candidates.

Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research (JIPMER) MBBS Entrance Exam is a National Level Entrance Examination for admission into various undergraduate, postgraduate, fellowship, certificate, super speciality, diploma, and certificate courses. This examination is being conducted for a total of 200 MBBS seats distributed between the 2 JIPMER campuses. The distribution of seats is as follows – 150 in Puducherry and 50 in Karaikal respectively.

The admit cards were made available around 10 am on the official JIPMER portal. The last day for downloading the admit card is the 2nd of June 2019 by 8 am IST. The JIPMER MBBS exam as scheduled will be held on the 2nd of June 2019 in two shifts (morning shift – 10 am to 12.30 pm, afternoon shift 3 pm – 5.30 pm).

The steps to Download JIPMER MBBS 2019 Admit Card are as follows 

  • Visit the official JIPMER exam website jipmer.edu.in
  • On the homepage, click on the link ‘JIPMER MBBS Entrance Examination Hall Ticket-2019’
  • Now enter your login details to the portal (User ID and Password)
  • The admit card will now appear on the screen
  • Make sure you download and take a print out for future reference

The candidate must compulsorily carry his or her admit card to the examination. The JIPMER MBBS 2019 Admit card will constitute details such as the candidate’s name, examination center, examination date and time, candidate’s roll number/registration number and so on. Candidates are advised to go through it thoroughly making sure all the details mentioned on the admit card are correct. In case of any discrepancy in the details mentioned, they should immediately contact the examination authority.  

JIPMER will be conducted in only one mode which is the Computer-based Test. JIPMER 2019 Exam Pattern consists of Multiple Choice Question’s (MCQ’s). There will be a total of 5 sections which includes Physics, Chemistry, Biology, English Language and Comprehension, and Logical and Quantitative Reasoning. The duration of the exam will be 150 minutes which is 2 hours and 30 minutes.

The counseling for seats/admissions will commence from the 26th of June while the admission process will continue up until the 30th of September. The first merit list is expected to be released around the 21st of June while the MBBS course for 2019-20 academic year will commence from the 3rd of July 2019. The JIPMER MBBS course is 4 years and 6 months long coupled with a yearlong Rotatory Internship.
