- Be Consistent in Following a Strict Study Schedule
In Archit’s statement, he says, “ before beginning with my preparations, I first curated a focused study schedule, segregating equal time for all three subjects. From day one to the last day, I was consistent in my studies”. So, students who have been maintaining a proper study timetable will definitely have higher chances of securing a competitive score.
- Attempt Maximum Number of Mock Tests
During the final stage of preparation, it is essential to practice mock tests as they can offer an actual exam experience. According to Archit, he had made it a habit to practice at least 4 mock tests daily with varying difficulty levels. It helped him overcome exam day fear and improced questions solving accuracy.
- Take Breaks Occasionally to Relax the Mind
When asked regarding was Archit's study time, he commented, “ I can’t study for 7 to 8 hours ago”. Archit emphasised on how taking occasional breaks is very important when preparing for a tough exam like JEE. We advise test takers not to panic and try to relax their minds. Some of the activities suggested by Arhcit includes mediating, listening to soft music, and exercising. A fresh mind can enhance concentration power, thereby eliminating exam day anxiety.
