JEE Main 2021 Syllabus Released by NTA

An Overview of the Major Boards and Entrance Exams Postponed This Week

Going by the latest media reports, the syllabus for JEE Main 2021 has been released by the National Testing Agency (NTA). The syllabus is available at the official website. As per the official details, there has been no change in the syllabus of the engineering entrance exam. Students can visit the official website to check the syllabus or click on the direct link which has been provided below.

This step puts a rest on all the speculations that were going on amidst various reports of the syllabus being reduced and further changes.  Recently, while addressing the Kendriya Vidayala students, the Union Education Minister Dr Ramesh Pokhriyal “Nishank” announced that the JEE Main exam will be held as per the reduced syllabus of the boards.

The next day, the Press Bureau of India clarified that the JEE Main and NEET exams will be held based on the complete syllabus. However, students will be provided more options while answering the questions. Now, the NTA released the complete JEE Main 2021 syllabus on the official website putting a stop to all the speculation.

Moreover, on 19 January 2021, the education minister, Ramesh Pokhriyal ‘Nishank’, also announced the relaxation of the JEE Main 2021 eligibility criteria. The minister said that the eligibility criteria that requires the candidate to have 75% total scores has been waived for 2021. The JEE Main exam will be held four times this year in February, March, April, and May.
