JEE advanced 2020 examination has been postponed by Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi. According to the notification provided on the official website of the institute, the JEE Advanced exams 2020 which were to be conducted on May 17, 2020, have been postponed due to the COVID-19 lockdown orders in the country. The notification states that the JEE advanced 2020 exam will be rescheduled after the JEE Main April 2020 examination.
The National Testing Agency which conducts the JEE main April 2020 examination had released a notification on March 31, 2020 stating that the JEE Main 2020 examination scheduled to be conducted in April 2020 will now be conducted by the last week of May 2020. Revised dates would be announced, considering the improvement in the current situation. The admit cards for JEE Main 2020 will be issued after April 15, 2020 based on the situation at that time.
Steps to register for JEE Advanced 2020
- Visit the official portal- jeeadv.ac.in
- After login, provide all the basic details and fill the choices of the cities for the examination.
NOTE: The candidate will get the option of adding an additional mobile phone number and an additional email id, in addition to the ones provided during JEE Main registration. Since all correspondence shall be done via the registered email id, candidates must ensure the correctness of the details.
- Upload the scanned copies of all required documents.
- Pay the registration fee. It is non-refundable.
About JEE (MAIN) 2020
Candidates wishing to appear in JEE (Advanced) 2020 must attempt B.E./ B.Tech. paper of JEE (Main) 2020 which will be held in two sessions, in the months of January 2020 and April 2020.

Seven Zonal Coordinating (ZC) IITs will be conducting the Joint Entrance Examination (Advanced) 2020 under the guidance of the Joint Admission Board (JAB) 2020. Marks secured by a candidate in JEE (Advanced) 2020 will lay the foundation for admission into the Bachelor’s, Dual Degree programs (entry at the 10+2 level) and Integrated Master’s in all the IITs in the academic year 2020-21. The decisions of the Joint Admission Board 2020 will be final in ascertaining all matters related to JEE (Advanced) 2020 and admission to IITs in the academic year 2020-21.
