The Jamia Millia Islamia University has given a green signal for conducting written examination for admission into undergraduate and postgraduate courses. Earlier the Executive Council (EC) proposed that the admissions will be made on a merit basis because of the worsening condition of the COVID-19 pandemic. But in a recent meeting, the EC outlined that Jamia will conduct written entrance examinations.
Candidates who had registered for the UG and PG Entrance Examination must keep visiting the official website regularly as the authorities will soon be releasing the official schedule and other important information.
Relaxation of Rules Owing to COVID-19
Keeping the current situation in mind, Jamia Millia has decided that the students will be allowed to deposit the annual fee in two separate installments. Earlier, the fee had to be submitted in a go. However, the installments must be completed before the admit card for the annual/semester exam is released.

The final semester exams were conducted from 5 to 20 June 2020. However, the examinations for the Faculty of Dentistry (FoD) and Centre for Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation Sciences (CPRS) were not conducted since the University was awaiting the guidelines from the respective governing bodies.
