Jamia Millia Islamia CDOL Admissions to Begin Soon


Jamia Millia Islamia University is all set to open admissions for its distance education programs. The process will commence in the second week of July 2019.

The University has been offering the Centre for Distance and Open Learning (CDOL) for a while now. CDOL comprises of an array of courses and subjects for students who have cleared the Class 12 exam. The admission will be granted for the academic year 2019-20. The prospectus and application forms for CDOL by Jamia Millia will be up and running on the official website university jmi.ac.in/cdol very soon. The last date for completion of admission formalities has been set as August 31, 2019.

Furthermore, the University Grants Commission has re-recognized the BA bachelor’s degree which happens to be the most sought-after program under CDOL. Besides, all the postgraduate programs of study will run on the Choice Based Credit System (CBSE). The university has the distinction of being first in offering distance education in semester mode while having the same curriculum, syllabi and the examination pattern as that of regular mode programs run by the University.

Jamia Millia Islamia University located in New Delhi is an institution originally established at Aligarh in United Provinces in the year 1920 that later happened to move to Delhi. The word Jamia means “University while the word Millia stands for “Nation”. The University has been accredited by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) as an A-grade Institute.
