About INI CET 2021

The Institute of National Importance Combined Entrance Test (INI CET) is a national level medical entrance examination for postgraduate students. Qualified candidates are granted admission to various medical institutions of eminence in India. The exam has replaced the individual postgraduate entrance examination conducted by institutions like JIPMER, AIIMS and NIMHANS etc. and combined them as one. Thus, only one entrance examination will be conducted for these institutions from the next academic session.

The courses included are MSMD, DM, MDS and MCh etc. with a total of 744 seats offered by all the participating institutions. It is one of the most stringent examinations wherein a time duration of 3 hours, or 180 minutes is provided to the candidates for solving the Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs). The candidates must keep visiting the official website for regular updates on the entrance examination.
