Indian Bank released Admit Card for upcoming Security Guard exam, Download admit card @ indianbank.in

Indian Bank will conduct exams for recruitment towards Security Guard under Sub-staff cadre, exam will be conducted on 14th December 2019. Online registration portals were closed on 08th November 2019, so no more registrations can be done.

Indian Bank released admit cards for the same on their official website, registered candidates are suggested to download the admit card as soon as possible.

Security Guard exam is for Ex-Servicemen in different states for the post of Security Guard-cum-Peon in Subordinate cadre. Check your eligibility in the below link:

Steps to download admit card for Indian Bank Security Guard exam

  • Go to Indian Bank official website indianbank.in

  • Click the ‘Careers’ link (.indianbank.in/career/) present at the bottom of the page.

  • Click the ‘Recruitment of Security Guard under Sub staff cadre-2019’ link and a tab containing many links will slide down.

  • Click the ‘Click here for downloading call letter for test on 14.12.2019’ link in the tab.

  • Enter your credentials on the next page and click login button.

  • Download and keep the admit card that will appear on the next page.

NOTE: Login using the ‘Registration No.’ and ‘Password’ you received after successful registration.

About Security Guard Exam

The selection process of Security Guard exam invloves four main steps. They are:

  • Objective type Test – Online

  • Test of local language

  • Physical fitness Test

Note: Preference to candidates having valid driving license of Light Motor Vehicle (LMV)

Objective type test – Online

Objective test has 60 questions with 90 minutes exam duration, and Maximum marks are 40. There will be three sections in the question paper with 20 marks and 30 minutes allotted to each. The three sections are:

  • General Knowledge/Simple Arithmetic and Reasoning

  •  Basics of Banking

  •  Knowledge in security aspects

Cut-offs will released accordingly and shortlisting of candidates for test of language will done considering both these aspects.

Test of local language

Local language test will have 10 questions with 10 marks. General candidates will have to score 40% and 35% for reserved candidates to qualify in the local language test.

Physical fitness test

The Physical fitness test is based on performance in:

  • Five-meter shuttle in one minute
  • Push-ups
  • Sit-ups. 

Merit list

Merit list gives out the effective marks of a candidate, Merit list gives merit of candidates summing up the mark they scored in every process. The marks will be out of 100. Marks in the merit list determines the selection of a candidate.
