Application for Admission in 2 Year PGDM program is reopened by IMT

The Institute of Management Technology (IMT) has reopened its application for the 2-year postgraduate diploma management (PGDM) program. Candidates who are yet to register for the online IMT common application can now visit the official website and can apply. The application form is applicable for registering on campuses of IMT Ghaziabad, IMT Hyderabad, and IMT Nagpur.

Candidates are advised to check the eligibility criteria before applying to IMT colleges. While registering for the application procedure, candidates have to pay INR 2000 as an application fee. As always, IMT follows a common admission procedure through which the eligible candidates are shortlisted on the basis of the marks scored by them in the CAT/ CMAT/ GMAT/ XAT exams.

Online Admission Process 2021

Due to the pandemic situation, the admission process 2021 of IMT will be carried out in online mode. All the candidates who will be shortlisted under the mentioned criteria of IMT will be sent a standard operating procedure (SOP) document. The admission process is scheduled to be conducted in the month of February 2021.

Key components of the admission process

By the end of January 2021, all shortlisted candidates will need to fill out and submit the profile detail form and SOP. The profile detail form includes details that are related to the candidate’s work experience, educational background, etc. Additionally, candidates are also required to submit a “statement of purpose” with a word limit of 300 words.

Shortlisted candidates have to make a video introducing themselves and mentioning their career aspirations, background and upload it. The video should be under the given time limit of 1 minute. The video must be uploaded to the portal in the mentioned format before the commencement of the selection procedure. Furthermore, detailed information will be provided to the candidates through the SOP document.

After this, all the shortlisted candidates have to appear for a personal interview (PI) round. The PI round will commence in the presence of 2-3 panellists through online mode. The details of login credentials and other events will be provided to the candidates through the SOP document issued by the authority.

All the candidates who will be appearing for the PI will be evaluated on the below-mentioned criteria during the process.
