The NTA has released the examination date for Indian Institute of Mass Communication (IIMC) 2020 admissions. The National Testing Agency (NTA) will conduct the IIMC 2020 entrance exam on 18 October 2020. The test will be an online one conducted in remote proctored manner. Aspirants will be given the option to appear for IIMC entrance exam from a location of their choice. Candidates who are willing to take the exam but haven’t applied can do so by visiting iimc.ssinfotechonline.com to submit their application forms. The last date for submitting the IIMC 2020 application form is 23 September 2020.
In order to appear for the online IIMC 2020 remote-proctored test, candidates need to have a desktop, laptop or computer. They will also be requiring a good internet connection as mentioned in the official notification. The official statement also reads that those candidates who have already registered are not required to apply again. The National Testing Agency (NTA) will notify about any new instructions regarding the exam in due course of time.
NTA has also taken out guidelines for candidates who had already applied for IIMC 2020 but wished to withdraw their application. In order to do so, candidates can send their Unique Registration Number (URN) to [email protected] by 18 September 2020. They will be refunded their IIMC application fee after deducting the processing charge within two weeks. Candidates awaiting graduation result or appearing candidates can also apply for the IIMC entrance exam. During the final selection process, appearing candidates will have to produce their graduation result and mark sheet.
IIMC entrance exam 2020 will be conducted for screening of candidates to the postgraduate diploma courses. Successful candidates will be eligible for admission at various IIMC campuses offering degrees in Journalism and Language courses. The 2020-2021 academic session has been delayed due to the Covid-19 pandemic. It will most likely begin in the second week of November.
