As per the latest reports, Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has opened its re-registration window for the January 2021 session, in online mode. Candidates who wish to continue their studies next year or semester will have to opt for the IGNOU 2021 re-registration which started on 1 December 2020. However, the last date for the re-registration process has not yet been declared by the varsity. In order to register, candidates will have to visit ignou.ac.in the official website.

How to Apply for the IGNOU 2021 Re-registration Process Online?

Candidates are advised to visit the official website and follow the steps mentioned below to re-register for IGNOU 2021. Alternatively, they can also click on the direct link provided below for ease of the candidates:

  1. Visit the official website – ignou.ac.in
  2. On the landing page, click on “ONLINE RE-REGISTRATION January 2021”
  3. Enter your username, password and captcha code.
  4. Click on “Login.”
  5. Enter the requisite details and complete the formalities.
  6. Save a copy or take a print out for future reference.

Candidates must note that the re-registration process has started for most undergraduate and postgraduate courses except MPB, MCA, and MP. As per the concerned authorities, the process for these courses will commence in the next two days. It is imperative that students go through the detailed instructions first and then continue to the re-registration portal.

Candidates can re-register for the next year or semester irrespective of whether they have submitted the assignments or appeared in the end-of-term examination of the previous semester or not. Candidates must keep visiting the official website for the latest updates.
