Admit Card for JEE Main February Cycle to be Released Soon

As per the official reports, the Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has reduced the maximum duration of completing Post Graduate (PG) programs by one year. The new course plan outlines that the students enrolled in IGNOU have to now finish their postgraduate program within four years. Earlier, the maximum duration to finish the PG program was five years.

Alongside the postgraduate program, IGNOU also decided to put a limit on the maximum duration of Certificate, Diploma, and PG Diploma programs. For the Diploma and PG Diploma programs, the maximum duration to complete the whole course is now limited to three years. On the other hand, the maximum duration to complete the Certificate program is two years now.

The matter was discussed, with all concerning parties reaching a mandate, in the 74th academic council held on 20 July 2020. It is to be noted that this new development is not applicable for the already enrolled and old students of IGNOU PG program. There is no change in the maximum duration of completing undergraduate programs.

The minimum duration to complete UG program is three years and the maximum duration is six years. The varsity, in the first week of October, decided to withdraw the re-admission scheme. Therefore, there is no provision of re-admission for any candidate whose course is completing within June TEE 2021.
