Indira Gandhi National Open University extended final-submission-date of Online/Offline Re-registration forms for all January 2020 session programmes. Earlier, final date was 20th Jan 2020 and now it has been extended to 31st Jan 2020. The application for IGNOU 2020 January session can be submitted online at IGNOU official website- ignou.ac.in
Candidates must register, in order to apply for IGNOU programmes. The link for registration will be active till 31st Jan 2020 on IGNOU website.
Excerpts from Official Notification: The official notification from IGNOU says “With the approval of the Competent Authority, it is to inform you that the last date of submission of Online/Offline Re-registration forms for all programmes for January, 2020 session has been extended upto 31st Jan 2020,“.
Steps to register for January 2020 session
Visit the IGNOU official website- ignou.ac.in
Under ‘Alerts’ section, click the link titled as ‘The last date for Re-Registration forms for all Programmes extended up to 31st Jan 2020‘.
On the next page, click on the link titled ‘Click Here to apply Online Re-registration forms‘ , under the notification for final date extension.
- You will be redirected to IGNOU online re-registration page.
Click the link titled ‘Apply Online Re-Registration Form‘ here.
Fill the online ‘Re-registration‘ form that appears on the next page and click the submit button to proceed further.
When applying for IGNOU programmes, applicants must remember that it is mandatory to upload all the important documents that is needed. Scanned images and photographs must be uploaded as per the specifications mentioned in the application form.
Other important documents are scanned copies of:
- Age Proof
- Relevant Educational Qualification
- Category Certificate if SC/ST/OBC
- Experience Certificate
- BPL Certificate, if Below Poverty Line.
Applicants must also submit the registration fee along with the application form. The registration fee is Rs. 400/- and it should be submitted through Bank Draft in favor of IGNOU and payable at the City of the Regional Centre.
