ICSI CS Exam 2019 Postponed for Executive, Professional courses; read below for more details

ICSI postponed the CS Executive & Professional 2019 Exams’ on 23rd and 24th December 2019. The exam postponement was announced on December 22, 2019 via an Online notice on ICSI official website. 

The rest of the exams from December 26, 2020 will be conducted as per the timetable.

ICSI, as of now, has released no notification regarding the revised dates for the postponed exams, but the notification for exam postponement has notified that revised dates for the exams will be announced in the website soon. Candidates are recommended to check the official website often to keep them updated. 

ICSI previously postponed exams on 21st and 22nd December 2019; the revised dates of these exams will be notified, as mentioned in the notification.

ICSI CS Exam: Major Changes

All the CS exams, for both Executive and Professional programmes, scheduled 23rd and 24th December 2019 will be postponed according to the ICSI notification. The subjects getting postponed are:

Tax Laws and Practice, Company Law, Advanced Tax Laws and Practice, Corporate Funding and Listing in Stock Exchanges, Company Accounts and Auditing Practices, Economic, Business and Commercial Laws, Secretarial Audit, Compliance Management, and Due Diligence and Advanced Tax Laws.

Only the exam for Tax Laws and Practice among all is OMR based, and exams for Tax Laws and Practice, Advanced Tax Laws and Practice, Company Accounts and Auditing Practices, Business and Commercial Laws, Secretarial Audit, Compliance Management, and Due Diligence is based on Old Syllabus, the rest will be based on New Syllabus.
