ICSI CS Exam 2019 Admit Card Released

The Admit Cards for CS Foundation, Executive and Professional Programme have been officially released on the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) website

The exam will be conducted by the ICSI in over 100 centers in India and also Dubai. The CS Foundation exam as scheduled will be held on the 8th and 9th June 2019 while the CS Executive and Professional exam are scheduled from 1st to the 10th of June respectively. The details regarding the exam time, center of examination can be found on the admit card.

Steps to Download the ICSI CS Exam 2019 Admit Card are as follows

  • Log in to the official ICSI website icsi.edu
  • On the homepage, click on the ‘announcement for students’ section
  • Select the admit card link of the relevant program
  • Enter the 17-digit registration number in the new window that opens
  • The admit card appears on the screen. Download it.
  • Make sure to take a print copy of the same for future reference

The students are supposed to carry an identity card along with the admit card to the examination. The ID proof could be either Aadhar Card, Pan Card, Passport, Driving Licence, Voters ID and so on. In case of absence of the student’s photograph on the admit card, the candidate has to get it affixed before the exam on the card. This process will be done by a gazetted officer or a member of ICSI.

The CS Executive exam syllabus includes a total of eight papers while the CS Professional course consists of nine papers and one elective paper respectively. There is a total of 8 elective options/papers a candidate can choose from and they are Banking- Law & Practice, Insurance- Law & Practice, Intellectual Property Rights and so on.

The Institute of Company Secretaries of India is constituted under Company Secretaries Act, 1980. It is a recognized government body instilled with the task of producing Company Secretaries in India. The Company Secretary CS course was introduced in the year 1960 by the Company Law Board.
