The results for the Class 10 (ICSE) and Class 12 (ISC) examinations conducted under the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) have been released on Tuesday, May 7th at 3 pm IST.
The results are available on the official CISCE board website cisce.org. The ICSE and ISC results can also be availed through SMS service provided by the board. The candidate needs to enter his or her Unique seven-digit ID in the following format: ISC or ICSE <space> 1234567 in a new message folder and send it to the following number 09248082883.
Juhi Rupesh Kajaria from Mumbai and Manhar Bansal from Punjab have topped the Class 10 ISCE exam with 99.60% each. On the other hand, Dewang Kumar Agarwal from Kolkata and Vibha Swaminathan from Bangalore have topped Class 12 ISC examination with cent percent marks, a feat unachieved up until now in ISC history.
The pass percentage in ICSE and ISC this year is 98.54% and 96.52% respectively. Furthermore, the board has divided its schools into 5 regions (Western, Southern, Eastern, Northern and abroad regions). The ICSE 2019 Exam’s best score has been recorded in the western region with 99.76%. In the case of the ISC exam, the highest performance was seen abroad with 99.69%. The exams this year were conducted between February 4 and March 25 for ICSE and from February 22 to March 25, 2019, for ISC students.
The Council for The Indian School Certificate Examination (CISCE) conducts the ICSE and ISC Examination across India. Its head office is located in New Delhi, India. The CISCE board intends to give an examination in a course of general training, as per the proposals of the New Education Policy 1986 (India), through the medium of English. It is one of the most esteemed boards in India and its examination is viewed as the toughest. ICSE has a wide syllabus where students can choose either Science or Commerce stream.
