The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has announced to postpone the CA Foundation Paper 1 exam, which was earlier scheduled on 8 December 2020. The ICAI CA Foundation Paper 1 exam will now commence on 13 December 2020 and the other exams will be commencing as per the regular schedule as mentioned on the official website.
Admit Cards Issued Earlier to Remain Valid
ICAI, along with confirming the postponement of the exam, also confirmed that the previously issued admit card will remain valid for the postponed paper as well. It also notified that ICAI will not issue additional admit cards for the CA foundation paper 1 exam that has been rescheduled for 13 December 2020. Candidates will be given entry into the exam hall on the basis of the previously issued admit card.

Foundation Exam Centers Changed in Kerala
ICAI has also issued another notification regarding the change of the exam centers in Kerala. The institute has decided to change 15 CA foundation exam centers in Kerala as the schedule of the ICAI CA Foundation exams clashes with the local elections being conducted in the state.
