ICAI CA 2020 Correction Window

According to a recently published notification by The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, re-opening the ICAI CA 2020 online application for candidates to request for a change in the examination centre has been postponed until further notice. Earlier it was announced by the institution on May 29th, the application correction window was expected to reopen from June 7th until June 9th. However, it has been decided by the institute after careful consideration to postpone reopening the application form until the final guidelines of the lockdown are announced so students can make a final decision on choosing their preferred examination centres. This correction window in the ICAI CA 2020 application form is only for those candidates who wish to request for a change in the examination centre. 

New dates for re-opening the online application portal is expected to be announced by the institution soon. The application correction window will be available on the institute’s official website – icai.org

The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) had earlier announced the postponement of the ICAI CA exams due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic and the nationwide lockdown. Earlier the exams were to be held between June 19 and July 4. According to the schedule that was later released by the institute, ICAI will conduct all three CA exams – CA Foundation, CA Intermediate and CA Final from July 29 onwards and will go until August 16. A detailed schedule with the revised dates has been announced by the board on the official website.

About ICAI CA Exam 2020

ICAI CA exams are conducted for those candidates who are seeking a profession in Chartered Accountancy in India. The exams are conducted for interested candidates at three different levels of study such as CA Foundation examination that consists of 4 papers, CA Intermediate examination consisting of 8 papers and the CA Final examination consisting of 8 papers. The written test will begin at 2 PM on all days for a duration of 2-4 hours depending on the paper. Candidates are provided with the option of attempting the examination in either English or Hindi language. The exam pattern and marking scheme varies for every paper across the three different levels of the CA examination. More details can be found on the insititute’s official website.
