The tests had been suspended round the globe owing to coronavirus outbreak.
Srikant Gopal, executive director of the TOEFL Program was quoted saying that test takers across the world who are affected by coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic will be provided at home solutions. Both TOEFL and GRE will be attempted from home, till the situation improves for them to be conducted at test centres.
He also said that precautionary measures are taken to ensure the credibility of the tests taken from home so that they meet the highest standards of reliablity, security and validity. Multiple best-in-class measures like live remote proctors and artificial intelligence technology will be employed for monitoring these tests taken from home.
