GAT-B 2020 Hall Ticket Released; Download Admit Card

The Regional Centre for Biotechnology, on behalf of the Department of Biotechnology, Government of India, has released the Graduate Aptitude Test – Biotechnology or GAT-B 2020 Hall Tickets on 23 September 2020. Candidates who have registered for the examination must visit the official website rcb.res.inĀ to download the hall ticket. The examination is slated for 3 October 2020, so candidates must download the hall ticket before that.

Steps to Download GAT-B 2020 Hall Ticket

  1. Visit the official website –
  2. Scroll down to find the “Announcements” section.
  3. Click on the link titled, “GAT-B 2020 – 3rd October.”
  4. Scroll down once again and click on the link titled, “Download Admit Card/Hall Ticket.”
  5. Now enter the required credentials, i.e., Application Sequence Number and Date of Birth.
  6. View the admit card and download the same.
  7. Save a copy in case of an emergency.

Note Further

Candidates must note further that the hall ticket for GAT-B 2020 examination is the primary document that would facilitate entry into the examination hall. Along with the GAT-B 2020 hall tickets, candidates also need to carry a valid photo id proof for verification in the examination hall.

This is the second time that the authorities have released the GAT-B hall ticket. Earlier, it was issued on 25 June 2020; however, as the exam got postponed, the hall ticket window was closed after two days of release on 27 June 2020.

Candidates appearing for the examination must download the hall tickets before 3 October 2020 and verify all the particulars beforehand. In case of any discrepancy, they can reach out to the authorities to avoid any last-minute confusion. Furthermore, candidates must keep visiting the official website for the latest updates.

About GAT-B 2020

The Graduate Aptitude Test – Biotechnology, previously Combined Entrance Examination for Biotechnology (JNU CEEB) by JNU, is being conducted by the Regional Centre for Biotechnology on behalf of the Department of Biotechnology of India. This examination is to rank the eligibility of the candidate among all applicants. The candidates will be given a GAT-B rank based on which they may apply to the various DBT-supported PG programmes in participating institutions.

GAT-B 2020 would be conducted in a computer-based mode for 3 hours. The paper will have two sections, namely, Section A and B, with multiple-choice questions. Candidates must thorough themselves with the pattern and syllabus before writing the exam.
