Going by the latest announcement, the final semester exams in the colleges and universities of Madhya Pradesh will be held offline. The Madhya Pradesh Higher Education Department will be conducting the final semester exams for the undergraduate students of the state offline in June 2021. The decision to delay the exam has been taken considering the recent spike in the number of cases across the state and in the country. Earlier, the Madhya Pradesh Higher Education Board was planning on holding the exams in April-May 2021.
However, the authorities announced that they will be conducting the exams offline, i.e., in pen and paper-based mode. The latest guidelines released by MP Education Department say that the colleges have been directed to conduct the final year/ semester exams in physical form at examination centers. The authorities have been directed to conduct the exam with adherence to strict protocols and guidelines in place.
Online Exams for the Students of First and Second Semester
In contrast, the exams for the students of the first and second semesters will be conducted online. This is contrary to the earlier directions. The exams will be held online in June month and will be conducted in an Open Book format. The exams, which are scheduled to be conducted in the month of June 2021, will see the teachers uploading the documents on their respective websites. Students will have to download it and then proceed to give the exams. Therefore, students are advised to keep visiting the official website for the latest updates.
