CBSE Extended Deadline for Two Scholarships – The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) had extended the deadline to apply for the two significant scholarships. The two CBSE scholarship schemes include the merit scholarship for single girl child for class 12 studies and renewal of the single girl child scholarship for class 10th pass in 2019. The online application submission for these two scholarships was extended till 28 December 2020.
CLAT 2021 Exam Date and Application Form Release Date Announced – The Consortium of National Law Universities (NLU) has officially declared the CLAT 2021 exam date alongside the dates for other significant events. The Law Entrance Exam is booked to be conducted on 9th May 2021 in Pen-and-Paper (P&P) mode. The notice also asserted that the application form for the entrance exam would be available from 1 January 2021.
Karnataka PGCET Mock Seat Allotment Result Declared – The Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) declared the mock seat allotment results for Karnataka PGCET 2020. The result was announced on 28 December 2020. The state-level Postgraduate Common Entrance examination is held every year for the candidates willing to take admission in postgraduate (PG) courses across the state.
AP EAMCET 2020 Option Entry Commences – The Online web option choice entry will be open for Rank 1 to 60,000 of AP EAMCET 2020, from 28 December 2020 to 29 December 2020, i.e., Monday to Tuesday. The online web alternatives section for Rank 60,001 to the last position of APEAMCET 2020 will open on 31 December 2020, and closes around the same time.
CSIR NET 2020 Result Declared – The National Test Agency (NTA) has declared the results for the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research National Entrance Test, commonly known as CSIR NET 2020. The results are available in the form of scorecards on the official website. NTA conducted the online mode test, i.e., computer-based test (CBT), in June 2020.
Odisha Government to Introduce Quota for Government School Students – The Odisha government decided to provide reservations in engineering and medical universities for candidates passing out from state-run schools. It also endorsed a proposal to make it compulsory for every people’s representatives and government workers to submit property statements.
MHT MBA CET Counselling Ends – The Maharashtra State CET Cell (MHT MBA CET) Counselling 2020 ended on 29 December 2020. The last date to apply for MAH MBA CET counselling 2020 was 20 December earlier, 2020 which was extended till 29 December 2020. The authorities decided to extend the dates after receiving various requests from the candidates. Candidates had to apply online by visiting cetcell.mahacet.org the official site.
Tamil Nadu Class 10 and 12 Board Exam Dates to be Announced Soon – Tamil Nadu State Education Minister K A Sengottaiyan has announced that the board exams for classes 10 and 12 will indeed take place in 2021. The news came out due to the escalating rumors of a “zero academic year” amidst the COVID-19 pandemic. Mr. Sengottaiyan, while talking to the media personnel, confirmed that the board exams for the current academic year of classes 10 and 12 would commence without fail.
