Education Minister to Announce JEE Advanced 2021 Dates Tomorrow

JEE Advanced to be Held on 3 July 2021: Education Minister

The Union Education Minister, Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank, is expected to announce the dates for JEE Advanced 2021 exam tomorrow, i.e., 7 January 2021. The education may talk about other important details such as eligibility criteria and the number of attempts, along with announcing the dates. The Union Education Minister went on his Twitter handle earlier to confirm the same;

“I will announce the eligibility criteria for admission in #IITs & the date of #JEE Advanced on 7th Jan at 6 PM.”

Pokhriyal will go live on his official Twitter handle at 6 PM IST on Thursday to discuss the important details about the engineering entrance exam. Taking into account the prevailing situation due to the COVID-19 pandemic and the delay in holding the board exams by CBSE and several state boards, the eligibility criteria for the entrance test is likely to be relaxed.

Pokhriyal announced the dates and details of JEE Main 2021 in one of his earlier live sessions. The JEE Main 2021 exam will be held four times starting February and again in March, April and May. Once the JEE Main exam ends, it is expected that the JEE Advanced will commence in June 2021, probably the second or third week.

Previously, the education minister went live numerous times to address the queries of students and teachers regarding the feasibility of conducting the exam amidst the rising number of infections. In his last webinar, Pokhriyal announced the dates for CBSE class 10 and 12 Board exam 2021.
