The Union Education Minister will hold a live session at 4 PM IST today, i.e., 22 December 2020, to address the queries of the teachers, especially regarding the conduct of Board exam 2021. The Minister made an official announcement regarding the same through his Twitter handle and has asked the teachers to send in their queries with the hashtag #EducationMinisterGoesLive.”
Ever since the COVID-19 pandemic hit the world, things have come to a standstill. Educational institutions all across the country have been shut since March, and online education has become the new normal. Several exams were postponed to a later date considering the current scenario and much of the syllabus was reduced.
The two main boards, CBSE and ICSE, reduced their syllabus by approximately 30 percentage, and this syllabus reduction was a significant concern for students, teachers, and parents. Since all the entrance exams are based on the syllabus of class 12, this step may impact the students’ chances of qualifying.
Previously, on 10 December 2020, the Education Minister held a live session where he answered the queries of students and later announced the details about the JEE Main 2021 exam.
