Mr. Ramesh Pokhriyal “Nishank,” the Union Education Minister, interacted with Kendriya Vidyalaya students in a live webinar. The education minister was live from Kendriya Vidyalaya Andrews Ganj on Facebook and Twitter. All the Kendriya Vidyalaya students from all around the nation joined and asked questions.
The students asked various questions, and the minister answered them all. Multiple questions like the reopening of the schools were put forward, to which Pokhriyal replied that the schools would reopen after reviewing the situation. Other questions were asked on new education policies. While answering, the Education Minister also shared a lot of information regarding the governments’ initiatives to reopen the educational institutes.
The minister also mentioned that the government did not cancel any national level exams, so the CBSE board exams are to be commenced. The students’ common question was whether the leftover syllabus questions would be asked in the upcoming exams, to which the education minister disagreed and said the leftover syllabus wouldn’t be asked in any of the forthcoming examinations.
Previously, on 31 December 2020, the Union Minister conducted a webinar where he announced the CBSE 2021 board exam dates. The minister had also announced that the exam would be conducted in pen and paper mode.
