The 13th edition of the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) Exam will be held on 8 December (Sunday) 2019 by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE).
As per the official notification, the registration for the upcoming CTET exam has commenced on the official website from Monday, 19 August 2019 (today). The board has also released the official examination information bulletin containing details such as CTET application process, examination fee, languages, eligibility criteria, exam pattern, syllabus, examination cities and important dates.
The CTET December 2019 exam will be conducted in 20 languages across 110 cities across India. The aspiring candidates who did not qualify in the July 2019 CTET exam or who intend to appear for CTET exam now, can hereby apply. The online application process will remain open until 18 September 2019 while the last day to pay the exam fee is 23 September 2019.

Steps to Apply – CTET December 2019 Exam
The steps to be followed for CTET exam application and registration process are as follows
Visit the official exam website ctet.nic.in
On the homepage, click on the registration link
Select ‘new registration’ option and fill and verify the details
Now log in with the registration number and fill the form
Upload the required images and submit the application
Post applying, make the exam fee payment
CTET December 2019 Examination Fee Details
Each candidate must pay Rs 700 for one paper and Rs 1,200 for appearing in both exam papers. For reserved category candidates though, the fee is Rs 350 and Rs 600 respectively.
CTET Exam Papers
Paper I: For those want to become Primary School Teacher.
Paper II: For those want to become Upper Primary School Teacher.
The paper I and II: Candidates interested in teaching Upper Primary School (VI-VIII) have to appear in both the exam. Some states conduct Paper III exam for recruitment of Upper Primary School Teacher.
Central Teacher Eligibility Test
The Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) is a national level entrance exam that is conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) with an aim to appoint teachers for Primary level and Upper Primary level. The CBSE has been entrusted by the Union Ministry of Human Resource Development to conduct the CTET exam every year twice.
