The Central Board of Secondary Education will conduct the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) on 5th July 2020. Candidates can apply for the exam from today till 24th Feb 2020. The final date for fee submission is 27th Feb 2020.
The application for CTET can be submitted only in online mode. candidates can submit the application form by visiting CTET official website – ctet.nic.in

Fee payment for CTET can be made by two means, i.e., by 1. E-Challan and 2. Online Mode.
E-Challan: Fee payment for CTET via E-Challan can be done by depositing the prescribed amount in CTET Exam Fee Account with Syndicate Bank or Canara Bank.
Online Mode: Online fee payments can be made via Credit card/Debit card/Net banking.
CTET is a national level exam for appointing teachers in Primary and Upper Primary levels. It is conducted twice every year. This year, the CTET July exam will take place on 5th July, 2020.
CTET consists of two papers: Paper-I & Paper-II. Paper-I is for candidates intending to be teachers in classes 1 to 5 and Paper-II is for classes 6 to 8.
Candidates who wish to get assigned as a teacher to classes 1 to 8 should attend both the papers.
Each paper consists of 150 MCQs with one mark for each, there is no negative marking. Exam duration is two-and-a-half-hours.
The qualifying marks is 60% for General candidates and 55% for candidates in reserved categories.
