National Testing Agency will soon release the results of CSIR (Council of Scientific and Industrial Research) UGC NET (National Eligibility Test) examination. The result release is soon expected because NTA recently released final answer keys for CSIR NET exam, it is based on the final answer key on which the result is compiled.
NTA as of now has released no official notification regarding the results release for CSIR NET 2019.
Once the results are released candidates can check the results by logging in at NTA official website i.e. csirnet.nta.nic.in.
CSIR NET 2019 exam is conducted to recruit candidates for the award of Fellowsihp and Lecturership at various institutes, so there will be separate merit lists to be released, one for those who qualified for the award of the Junior Research Fellow (JRF-NET) and another for those qualified for Eligibility Test for Lectureship (LS-NET)/Assistant Professors.
Reason for Delay
Conduction of UGC NET 2019 exam delayed in several centers in Assam and Meghalaya. In these centers the exam was conduced on 27th Dec 2019 and for the rest it was on 15th Dec 2019. The delay occured due to the on-going anti-CAA protests in the state.
Admit card release was also delayed here as it was released on 21st Dec 2019.
Result declaration date for CSIR NET 2019 was not announced early due to the delay faced in exam conduction.
CSIR NET 2019
CSIR NET 2019 exam was conducted on 15th December 2020 with few exceptions. Exam was conducted in two shifts on the same day, the first shift was from 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM and second shift was from 2:30 PM to 5:30 PM.
Provisional Answer Key for the exam released on 1st Jan 2020 and final answer key was on 10th Jan 2020 after analysing the objections received.
