COMEDK UGET 2020 Rescheduled

Consortium of Medical, Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka has announced the postponement of COMEDK UGET 2020 that was earlier scheduled to take place on June 27, 2020. According to the latest notification released by the board, the entrance test will now be held on July 25, 2020. The decision to postpone the exams was taken amid concerns raised by students and parents in lieu of the increasing coronavirus cases within the country.

The board also stated the reopening of the application process for candidates from 12 PM on June 14, 2020 until 5 PM on June 17, 2020. Candidates who earlier missed the opportunity to register using the COMEDK UGET 2020 application can now register for the exam on the official website –

Furthermore, candidates who have previously registered for the COMEDK UGET 2020 will also be given a chance to edit the application form from 5 PM on June 18, 2020 until 5 PM on June 21, 2020. Candidates will only be allowed to update the academic details section, choice of test centre, and change the photo upload. The Consortinum of Medical, Engineering and Dental Colleges Karnataka has also added new COMEDK UGET Test Centres to the list. Candidates will not be allowed to make any changes after the form has been submitted.

Steps to Register for COMEDK UGET 2020

  • Visit the official website –
  • On the homepage, click on the “Engineering Application” icon.
  • Enter the basic personal details requested. Click on “Register”
  • A new Login ID and Password will be sent to your registered mobile no and email address.
  • Login with the new ID and Password.
  • Fill out the application form and click on “Preview” to recheck all the details.
  • Click on “Submit”.
  • Pay the application fee through one of the online modes of payment. 

About COMEDK UGET 2020

Candidates will be issued an Online Test Admission Ticket (TAT) prior to the commencement of exams. The date of availability of the TAT is yet to be released by the Consortium of Medical, Engineering and Dental College of Karnataka. COMEDK UGET 2020 is a computer based test conducted for a duration of 3 hours from 2 PM to 5 PM.

The entrance test will consist of 3 sections for Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. Each section will consist of 60 multiple choice type questions. Every question carries 1 mark and no negative marking scheme is followed. COMEDK UGET 2020 will be based on the syllabus for class 11 and class 12. All candidates are advised to reach the test centre 120 minutes prior to the commencement of the entrance test. Candidates will be allowed to enter the examination hall 60 minutes prior to the commencement of the test.
