Colleges Affiliated to SPPU to Reopen on 11 January 2021 for UG, PG and PhD Courses

Following the most recent update, colleges associated with Pune University will reopen for physical classes from 11 January 2020. All colleges associated with Savitribai Phule Pune University – SPPU in Nashik, Ahmednagar, and Pune will return for UG, PG, and Ph.D. students. As the university has advised reopening in the initial reopening phase, over 800 colleges will resume physical classes, i.e., theory, practicals, training, etc. The reopening procedure of the colleges will be carried out under the rules and regulations issued by the University Grants Commission (UGC).

Official Circular Released by SPPU

To confirm the news of reopening the Pune university Deputy Registrar released an official circular stating that physical classes for odd semester students will resume on 11 January 2021. It also mentioned that students who have been admitted in the first year for UG and PG courses will also resume classes on 11 January 2021. According to the official notification, all the colleges will resume physical classes for even semesters for all programs after the completion of the odd semester.

Practical and Oral Exams After Reopening

Savitribai Phule Pune University (SPPU) has declared that it will hold practical and oral tests as a feature of the on-going semester tests simply after disconnected classes start. The decks have likewise been cleared to hold oral tests for students as universities are scheduled to resume on 11 January 2021.
