The Consortium of National Law Universities has declared the CLAT result for the first round of provisional seat allotment. Candidates who qualified the entrance examination must visit the official website –consortiumofnlus.ac.in to view the result.

The result has been declared for the five-year integrated Law Programme as well as LL.M Programme. Candidates must note that the result has been declared as per the number of seats available in the listed national law universities.

Steps to View the CLAT 2020 Seat Allotment Result

Candidates can refer to the steps mentioned below to view and download the results for round one of the seat allotment:

  1. Visit the official website – consortiumofnlus.ac.in
  2. Scroll down to find the section titled “Notifications.”
  3. Click on the link which mentions “Ist Provisional Seat Allotment.”
  4. Once done, select the course for which you want to view the result.
  5. Under the course, i.e., either the five-year integrated Law Programme or LL.M. Programme, click on the college/university for which you want to view the result.
  6. The PDF will be displayed on the screen.
  7. View the result and download the same for future reference.

Candidates must check for the following particulars on the result:

  • Name of the candidate
  • All India Rank (AIR)
  • Admit Card Number
  • Application Number
  • Category (UR, SC, ST or PwD)

CLAT 2020 seat allotment for Round 2 and Round 3

As notified earlier by the consortium, there will be three rounds in total for the CLAT counselling process. The last and final round will be subject to the availability of vacant seats. Also, after the second round, candidates won’t be able to exercise the “apply for upgrade” option. Candidates can either accept the seat which is allotted to them or wait for the successive rounds.

But after the deciding round, i.e., the third round, all the candidates will have to either accept or opt-out. Once opted-out, the candidate will not be allowed to apply for admissions any further. CLAT 2020 seat allotment result for the second round will be declared on 11 October 2020 while for the third round it will be declared on 14 October 2020. In the meantime, candidates are advised to keep visiting the official website for the latest updates.
