CLAT 2019 Exam results to be released on June 14


Consortium of National Law University, Bangalore, along with the National Law University (NLU), Odisha, will be announcing the CLAT 2019 results on the official website. 

The result will be available at 6.30 pm on June 14th, 2019. This information was released in an official memo today.

The officials had recently released the final answer keys for the CLAT 2019 examination on 10th of June 2019. CLAT 2019 was held across the country on May 26. A total of 2,584 seats are up for grabs at the 21 National Law Universities.

CLAT 2019 Exam Results

The steps to download the CLAT 2019 exam results are as follows

  • Open the official website/portal of the exam
  • Click on the CLAT 2019 result link displayed on the homepage
  • This will then be redirected to a login page 
  • Enter your mobile number and password
  • Click on the login button followed by view result 
  • The result will be displayed on the screen. Download your result
  • Print out the result sheet for future reference

A number of other law schools are also using CLAT 2019 scores for admission. DNLU Jabalpur is the latest entrant to the CLAT fold this year. The Dr. BR Ambedkar National Law University at Sonipat, Haryana will also commence admissions starting this year.

This year the exam was held in pen and paper mode shifting from the previously used online mode of examination. The switch to the offline mode from an online mode was implemented after the students experienced several technical glitches in the past few years.

CLAT Counseling

After the declaration of results, candidates need to take part in centralised counselling conducted by CLAT authorities. There will be, in all probability, a minimum of 3 rounds of Counselling. The seat allotment will be done on a merit-cum-preference basis. This means that the admissions are done on the basis of the CLAT 2019 Rank.

Common Law Admission Test

CLAT is an All-India centralized examination that allows the students to get admission in the 21 National Law Universities in India for Law courses such as LLB and LLM. This year the process of the exam is being conducted by the National Law University, Odisha.

The online test consisted of Multiple choice questions to be attempted in a time duration of 2 hours. The test carries a total of 200 marks and includes topics such as English, Logical Reasoning, General Knowledge & Current Affairs, Elementary Mathematics, Legal Aptitude.
