The Central Board of Secondary Education will release the results for the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) in August 2019
The result will be available on the official website of CBSE Central Teacher Eligibility Test – ctet.nic.in. The result is generally announced within six weeks after the exam. The CTET 2019 exam was held on July 7 (Sunday), and the result should be declared on or before August 18, 2019.
As many as 20, 84,174 applicants had applied for the exam this year. The highly coveted exam was held in 20 languages in 104 cities across the nation. Candidates who qualify in the CTET exam will be eligible for teaching profile all across the country for Primary classes (1-5) and Elementary or Secondary classes (6-8).
The CTET Scorecard is awarded to the candidates who qualify the CTET exam. The scorecard is valid for seven years from the date of announcement of result. The CTET 2019 Scorecard will be valid till 2026. The CTET Scorecard will include total marks obtained by the candidate in aggregate as well as marks secured in every subject.
The steps to check CTET Result 2019 Scorecard are as follows
- Open the official CTET Exam website – ctet.nic.in
- On the homepage, click on the link that says ‘CTET Result or CTET Score’
- Enter the Roll Number and other login credentials and submit
- View and Download the CTET Scorecard and take a print out of the same for future reference
According to the official statement, candidates will not receive any personal notification regarding the results. Post the declaration of the results, each candidate will have to download their e-certificates from the website. It must be noted that the certificates will be available only for those who have cleared the CTET exam.
In order to successfully clear the exam, students need to secure 60% marks (90 marks out of 150 marks). The CTET exam is conducted in 2 parts i.e. paper I as well as paper II. Both the exams are held for duration of two and a half hours each. Students get one mark for every correct answer and there is no negative marking.
The Central Teacher Eligibility Test is conducted every year to recruit candidates for teaching profile all across the CBSE board in India. The Government of India introduced the CTET Exam in order to improve or bring new standards in teaching. All graduates are eligible to apply for CTET 2019 exam.
