The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is all set to declare CBSE Class 10 Board Result on the 5th of May 2019
The results will first be made available online. The students who appeared for the Class 10 board exams this year can check their results on the official board websites cbse.nic.in and cbseresults.nic.in respectively.
The result will be accessible on the official website of the CBSE board once they are officially announced. The students can visit the official website to check their scorecards by following the steps given below.
The candidates need to keep the following details ready in order to access their scores. The information needed is as follows – Roll Number, Date of Birth (in dd/mm/yyyy format), School No, Centre Number and the Admit Card ID Number.
The steps to check the CBSE Board Class 10 Results are as follows
- Visit the official CBSE Board websites – cbse.nic.in, cbseresults.nic.in
- Click on the Link – ‘Click for CBSE Results’
- Under the CBSE results section, click on the link – CBSE Class 10 Results
- Enter roll number and other required details
- Class 10 CBSE Board Results will be displayed on your screen. Make sure you download for your future reference.
A total of 18.19 lakh students have appeared for the CBSE Class 10 board exams in the year 2019. The board examinations were conducted between the 21st of February and the 29th of March respectively. It was held in 6000 centers across the nation.
The CBSE has also announced the Class 12 Result on the 2nd of May 2019 at 12.30 pm IST. Thiruvananthapuram recorded the highest pass percentage of 98.2% in the examination followed by Chennai at 92.93% and Delhi at 91.87% respectively. The total pass percentage of students studying in international schools stood at 95.43%.
Like the previous year, girls have performed better than the boys by a margin of 9%. Hansika Shukla and Karishma Arora were declared as joint toppers after for having scored 499 out of 500 marks each.
