CBSE Board Exam 2021 Schedule to Release on 2 February 2021

A New Assessment Framework to be Introduced by the CBSE

Going by the latest update, Union Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank announced that the exam schedule for CBSE class 10 and class 12 would be released on 2 February 2021. The minister was speaking during a web interaction with school heads of CBSE Sahodaya Complexes on Thursday.

Once the exam schedule is released, the CBSE Class 10 and Class 12 schedule will be available at the official website. The minister also said that each school will form a task force to implement the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 and that the task force will evaluate progress every three months.

The minister also took the time to congratulate CBSE and the teachers for conducting the exams and announcing the results on time. Now over four decades old, CBSE is also planning to digitize all its records, involving lakhs of students, going back 45 years. In an earlier webinar, Ramesh Pokhriyal had said that the exams would be held from 4 May 2021. During a live interaction with Kendriya Vidyalaya students, the minister said that the CBSE board’s 2021 exam questions would only be asked from the reduced syllabus.
