CBSE Board 2026 Psycho Social Counselling: The Central Board of Secondary Education took a noble initiative in helping the class 10 and 12 board students cope with exam stress and anxiety by launching psycho social counselling. As per the schedule shared by the board, class 10 and 12 exams are scheduled from February 17 onwards. With the nearing of the board exams, often students undergo a high level of anxiety and episodes of depression that interrupt their concentration.
Through the counselling sessions, CBSE ensures that students alleviate exam-related stress and safeguard their emotional well-being. This psycho social counselling started on January 6 and will continue till June 1, 2026. CBSE Board 2026 launched a thoughtful program on offering students psycho social counselling as the board exam approaches. As notified by the board, these counselling services aim at boosting confidence and offering mental clarity to students. Here are some key features of the counselling session:
- 24*7 Toll-Free IVRS: An Interactive Voice Response System will remain activated between January 6 and June 1 for the students. To access the super service, students need to call 1800-11-8004 and receive practical guidance on stress management and effective border exam preparations.
- Tele-Counselling Services: Students and parents can interact with a team of 73 trained counsellors who belong to different countries, including Qatar, Nepal, Japan, India, the UAE, and Oman. The counselling services can be availed between Monday to Friday from 9:30 AM to 5:30 PM.
- Digital Resources: CBSE Board has shared a collection of online resources that can allow students to learn about strategies to reduce their stress levels during examinations.
