As per the latest update, IIM Indore is expected to release the final answer key for CAT 2020 by 14 December 2020. The final answer key for CAT 2020 will be available in online mode on the official website. On 8 December 2020, the authorities released the provisional answer key and candidate response sheet. Candidates are given the option to raise objections against questions they feel are incorrect by providing backing documents in support of their claims.

The last date to raise objections against the provisional answer key is 11 December 2020. The expert panel will go through each objection thoroughly and release the final answer key accordingly. In order to download the final answer key, candidates will have to login using their user id and password.

Events After the CAT 2020 Final Answer Key

Once the final answer key for CAT 2020 is released, candidates can expect the results soon. The results of CAT 2020 is expected to be released in the second week of January 2021. All shortlisted candidates will receive calls from various IIMs and other colleges for further selection rounds which include group discussion, personal interview and written ability tests.

About CAT 2020

The Common Admission Test (CAT) is a national level exam conducted by the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) every year. CAT is an aptitude based exam that tests the candidates in areas such as Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension (VARC), Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning (DILR), and Quantitative Ability (QA). After qualifying CAT, a candidate can get into top B Schools in India.

CAT is a Computer Based Test (CBT) of 180 min. A total of 100 MCQs are asked, and each correct response gets three marks. There is a generic negative marking scheme that is followed. Candidates must remember that to get into a reputed B School, he/she has to achieve a high score. IIM CAT is one of the toughest nuts to crack. Aspirants must prepare well to ace the examination.
