BSE (Board of Secondary Education) Odisha is set to commence the evaluation of answer sheets for Odisha 10th exam 2020 from May 20, onwards. BSE Odisha has already made preparations for the evaluation process and is about to commence the work soon after the lockdown ends, i.e., from May 20, 2020. Based on the above data, Odisha 10th result 2020 can be expected in the month of July 2020.
Ramashish Hazra, BSE Odisha President, while addressing the media, said that the board was planning to appoint more evaluators for the process. As many as 6000 more evaluators will be involved to speed up the process. He added that since the results have already been delayed, the board is looking forward to beginning the evaluation process soon after the lockdown is lifted. At the same time, the board would also abide by social distancing rules and maintain hygiene throughout the process. He further stated that the evaluation process would be divided into three phases to ensure that the entire process is in accordance with the social distancing norms. The evaluation of each subject would be held in three phases and three sittings and the teachers would be assigned to evaluate the respective subject at the specific time allotted to them.
A total of 17000 examiners were allotted for evaluation work before the lockdown started. Considering the current prevalent situation, the board has decided to involve more teachers/evaluators. The evaluators are required to report at the assigned centres by May 19, 2020.
Teachers will be permitted to report at the evaluation centres, where they currently reside. It is not required for them to travel to the originally allotted centres (this is in case they have travelled elsewhere during lockdown). The entire evaluation work is expected to be completed within 20 days with a buffer of about 2 to 4 days. The centres, which are not in the containment zones, would be chosen for evaluation.
BSE Odisha class 10 exam 2020 evaluation work commenced on March 17, 2020. But it was suspended owing to the COVID-19 pandemic and the lockdown imposed due to it. Around 18,000 teachers are expected to be involved in the evaluation of the answer sheets. Nearly 5,60,891 students had appeared for the matriculation examinations this year. Once the evaluation process is completed, the BSE Odisha Matric Results will be made available online via the official portal.
