Assam CEE 2020 Postponed And Application Submission Dates Extended, Check At


Owing to COVID-19 pandemic, Assam CEE exam has been postponed by the ASTU (Assam Science and Technology University). The application submission date has also been extended by ASTU to 10 days till April 24, 2020. Aspirants can register for ASSAM CEE 2020 by visiting the official website-

Revised dates for Assam CEE 2020 Application

ASTU has postponed the Assam CEE 2020 and also extended the timeline for online submission of application form. The application submission dates have been extended by 10 days after the lockdown is lifted on 14th April 2020, which means application forms can be submitted till April 24, 2020 without having to pay any late fee. The original last date for submission of application form was April 7, 2020.

Revised Dates for Assam CEE 2020 after JEE Main / Advanced

While, the exam authority for Assam CEE 2020 has not confirmed any specific dates with respect to the rescheduling of the combined entrance exam, the notification states that the exam dates will be released only after the dates for JEE Main / JEE Advanced and NEET UG 2020 exam dates are declared by the NTA / IIT Council. Previously, Assam CEE was scheduled to be conducted on April 26, 2020.

About Assam CEE 

ASTU (Assam Science and Technology University) conducts the CEE ( Combined Entrance Exam), 2020 for admission into B.Tech program in the colleges of Assam. The CEE-2020 will be conducted according to the latest syllabus of Assam Higher Secondary
Education Council.

The examination will be conducted in the following centers: Silchar, Tezpur, Bongaigaon, Nagoan, Nalbari, Jorhat, Lakshmipur, Dibrugarh and Guwahati. Exam will be conducted for 3 hours and will contain 120 multiple choice questions carrying one mark each. The questions will be distributed in the following manner:

Mathematics  40  questions
Physics  40 questions
Chemistry 40 questions

Correct answer will be given 4 marks and 1 mark will be deducted for every wrong answer. If the candidate selects more than one option, no marks will be given for that question. Exam will be based on Assam Higher Secondary Education Council (AHSEC) Syllabus.
