Application Submission Extended And Exam Date PostPoned For COMED-K 2020, Check At


COMED-K exams have been postponed by the Consortium of Medical, Engineering and Dental colleges of Karnataka. As per the official notification available on the website, new dates will be announced in the 1st week of May 2020. Consequent upon the lockdown extension until May 3, 2020, exams which were earlier scheduled to be conducted on May 10, 2020, have been postponed. Candidates are advised to visit the official website for updates related to the announcement of the COMEDK 2020 entrance examination dates. 

Application submission dates have also been extended. According to the data available on the official website, the COMED-K 2020 application submission dates have been extended to May 5, 2020. Candidates wishing to and are yet to apply can do it, by visiting the official website-

Steps to apply for COMED-K 2020

  • Visit the official portal-
  • On the hompepage, under “Exam Details” tab, click on “About Exam”.
  • Click on “Login/Register Here”. Hit “Login”.
  • On the redirected page, click on “New Registration”.
  • Furnish all the details and register. Registered mobile number will recieve an OTP. After validation hit “Register” and complete the registration.
  • Application number and password will be sent to the mobile number via SMS and to the email id registered.
  • Login using the credentials.
  • Fill the application form by entering personal details, opting for exam centre, category details, academic details. Upload scanned copies of required documents.
  • Pay the required amount of fee.
  • Download and take a print out of COMED-K 2020 application form, for future use.

  • English will be the medium of examination.
  • 1 mark will be granted for every correct answer.
  • No negative marking for wrong answers.
  • It will be for a total of 180 marks.
  • The entrance test is based out of existing syllabi of 10 + 2 / 11 & 12th STD / 1st and 2nd PUC.


COMEDK (Consortium of Medical, Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka) was formed by Karnataka Professional Colleges Foundation, in their effort to provide an effective and objective testing procedure to assess the merit of students requiring admission to the member institutions. COMEDK has been given the task of organising a common entrance test for the current academic year. There will be a centralized counselling (Single Window System) following the entrance test and declaration of test scores and rank list.
