What is Slide Process After BITSAT Iteration 1 2024?

BITSAT Iteration 1 2024: The BITS Pilani is ready to declare the BITSAT 2024 iteration today, July 9, 2024, on their official website: bitsadmission.com. All BITSAT aspirants must check this website for any updates. This iteration will declare the merit list of the candidates based on which further admission procedures will take place. 

BITSAT Iteration 1 2024 is purely based on the BITSAT 2024 exam scores. The authority of BITS Pilani will publish two separate merit lists: for B.Pharm and all other programs(except B.Pharm). The authority may declare the iteration between 8 AM to 1 PM or 3 PM to 7 PM. After checking the merit list, candidates can pay their relevant fees within July 12, 2024.

BITSAT 2024 Slide Process After Iteration 1 Result

Slide in the Same Campus: This option is available when the candidates are given an offer from a particular BITS Pilani campus. This decision is also non-reversal. When the candidate chooses this option, all other higher preferences of BITS Pilani campuses will be removed from the selection list. Only the same campus higher preference courses will be shown during the iteration procedure. During this process too, the candidate has to pay a nominal fee. 

In case, the candidate does not select any of the above, he/ she can choose any higher preferences during the complete BITSAT Iteration 1 2024 session. Once the preference is submitted, there is no way to change the preference. 

Instructions for Sliding in the Same Campus

Those who want to go for a slide in the same campus option must follow this instruction strictly. 

1. This process is non-reversal i.e. one can not change this decision after finalising.
2. When the candidate selects the slide in the same campus option, he/she can not avail of any other preferences of colleges thereafter.
3. When the “slide in the same campus” menu is selected, there will be only the same campus-based courses with higher preferences. 
4. To choose the “slide on the same campus”, the candidate needs to pay a nominal fee to the institute.
5. When the candidate remits fees, he/she can not change the preference order of courses.

In case, the candidate does not select any of the above, he/ she can choose any higher preferences during the complete iteration session.
