    Weekend Rewind of the Exam and Educational News You Shouldn’t Miss: CUCET, MHT CET, and More

    The weekend is already here, but it still does not mean any holiday for the education and exam field. Many exams, which were earlier postponed due to COVID-19, have been rescheduled. Therefore, to know about every news of utmost importance relating to schedule, admit cards, counselling dates and more, we advise you to bring a pen and paper and start noting down the important dates.

    Gauhati University New Academic Session Schedule Released – According to media reports, Gauhati University and its affiliated colleges are set to start their new academic session in November 2020. The new academic session will begin for the first, third, and fifth-semester undergraduate programs. Classes for undergraduate programs at Gauhati University are scheduled to commence on 1 November 2020. According to the official schedule, the classes for the first-semester postgraduate programs, however, will begin on 18 November 2020.

    NEET SS Counselling Registration 2020 – The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has released the official schedule for the first and second rounds of NEET SS counseling 2020 on mcc.nic.in the official website. As per the official schedule, the registration and choice filling for NEET SS 2020 counselling was scheduled to begin on 8 October 2020 and continue till 11 October 2020, 5:00 PM IST. However, the counselling has been postponed for now.

    NBE FMGE December Session Schedule Released – The National Board of Examination (NBE) released the information brochure on Foreign Medical Graduate Exam – FMGE 2020 on the official website. Four new exam cities as centres for the FMGE 2020 December session has been recently added. The application form for the FMGE December session will be available from 8 October 2020, 03:00 PM IST onwards. The entrance examination is conducted for issuing a provisional or permanent registration from the Medical Council of India (MCI) or State Medical Council (SMC) to those Indian Citizens or Overseas Citizens of India (OCIs) who pass the exam.

    Karnataka PGCET Hall Tickets Released – On 7 October 2020, Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) released the Karnataka PGCET hall tickets for the M.Tech, MBA, and MCA candidates on kea.kar.nic.in the official website. In order to download the Karnataka PGCET hall ticket, candidates will have to visit the official website and enter their allotted application numbers and date of birth The examination is scheduled for 13 October 2020 and 14 October 2020.

    AUCET 2020 Admit Card Released – According to official reports, Andhra University released the AUCET mass communication admit card in online mode on audoa.in the official website. Candidates can download the admit card by entering their application number and birth date. The students must verify all the details mentioned on the admit card carefully and notify the authorities immediately in case of any errors.

    AP EAMCET Result Postponed – As per the latest updates, Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Kakinada, who was set to declare the AP EAMCET result on 9 October 2020, has again been postponed. JNTUK will announce the results for all the candidates who appeared for the Andhra Pradesh Engineering, Agriculture, and Medical Common Entrance Test (AP EAMCET) on sche.ap.gov.in the official website on 10 October 2020. In order to check their results, the candidates will have to log in and enter their roll numbers and other requisite credentials. 

    KVPY 2020-21 Application Date Extended – The Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore has decided to extend the last date to apply for KVPY 2020-21 to 30 October 2020. Earlier, the last date to fill out the KVPY application form was 19 October 2020. It has now been extended until 30 October 2020 and candidates who are interested in applying can do so by visiting kvpy.iisc.ernet.in the official website.
